Food, Accommodation & Transportation

Food, Accommodation & Transportation is the main essential things that you have to know when you are travelling anywhere apart from your Home. Don’t worry Nepalunteer is here to look after your FAT ( Food ,Accommodation, Transportation). We are here giving a service from 2 years and we have the positive feedbacks from our Volunteers/ guest in Nepalunteer success story. Volunteers will be kept in a Host family and  you will be given separate rooms and special dishes. You don’t have to worry for food accommodation and transportation. Please see the details below:

Food

​

Nepalunteer provide our volunteers 3 time meals in a day

Regarding about the foods, My aunt  from host family & a Nepali cook prepare meals/ foods for volunteers. You will taste the real Nepali flavour and you can learn somehow to cook in your free time as well. The details menu of foods are given below:

Breakfast:

Tea/Milk/Coffee, Bread/Jam/ Butter,cheese, Cookies, Egg, Banana, apple, gram/Chickpeas, Cereals,  potato.

 

Lunch / Dinner:

Nepali Traditional meal (Rice, Lentil soups, Green vegetables, Potato, Meat, Pickle, Papad)

Noodles

Breads made up from flour (wheat)

Momo

Vegetable curry

Pasta

Mushrooms

Lentil pizza with egg/ without egg

Aalu paratha (bread with Potato)

Fruits

yougurts (Curd)

Vegetable / Fruit salad

Note: Food will be served according to Daily routine menu & if you would like to eat beef and other western foods, Beverage and drinks you can go nearest  restaurant and you have to pay yourself. Nepalunteer will not bear the expenses of meals that you eat outside the Nepalunteer’s camp, in case you are eating food outside you have to inform us that you are not going to eat  in the family so that we will not make lunch or dinner only for that day.

Accommodation

​

Nepalunteer keep our volunteers in a host family that Provide you a clean and spacious rooms with bathroom on the same floor. The house is spacious with kitchen and with a roof with spectacular views. You have your own room with comfortable beds, internet / wifi, a coffee table for using laptops and all that you need, you will feel like you are in your own home. The bathrooms are nice, you can take both hot and cold shower whichever you like to. If you would like to cook any food let us know first and we will help you making your foods as well.

 

There is a washing machine, you can do laundry anytime whenever  you like to wash clothes. The uncle and aunt and other family members are very hospitable and are always available for anything you will live very comfortably and Experience a real Nepali host family . Beside this Nepalunteer staffs are there for any help and support for 24*7.

Rooms: Bed, Bedsheets/Pillow Cover, Matress & Pillow, Blankets, Cupboard/Closet, Coffee table, Chair, Mirrors, Hangers, Shoe racks, Towels.

Transportation

​

1. When you arrive at airport we send you a vehicle and Nepalunteer’s staff to pick you up and then you are transferred to host family ( Airport pickup and transfer )

2. We manage transportation for our volunteers while going to volunteer projects from the camp/ host family.

3. We manage transportation while going to visit/Site seeing cultural heritage sites and the beautiful places around Kathmandu.

4. We manage transportation in case for emergency support.

5. We also drop our volunteers on their last day of flight at the airport ( farewell & drop to airport)

Note: Beside this we do not bear the transportation cost and other cost when you are booking a package of tours and treks directly from Travel agency. Traveling agency will bear the expenses themselves or we can help you to book a package as well.
