As far as you Travel from home you have to notice, how much is the price for the total package cost? What services is included in the cost? Where your money is invested? For what for purpose your money is invested?

Nepalunteer is here to explain you each and everything about the Economics part. Economic section describes you the total cost you have to pay and where the Money is spent and how the Expenses accrued. The Economic proposal we make is based on direct donation avoiding intermediaries.

  • Modes of Booking

 

When you first confirmed about the program/ package, you have to book a package like 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or 4 weeksand a particular program/project eg: Volunteering in school, Volunteering Disabled home, Volunteering in Elderly home, Volunteering in Creative Learners and so on.

 

To book packages please send us message or queries in our mail ID: Nepalunteer@gmail.com  or  inbox in our face book page @Nepalunteer , As soon as we received your message we will reply you soon and you have to send all your Travelling Documents including Passport copy, Flights Details, Visas, Travel & Medical Insurance during the time of booking. After we confirmed your booking we start to arrange and process for your food, Accommodation, Transportation and our other services.

Finally we will be waiting you at the exit gate of airport during your arrival.

You can pay the package fee when you arrived here in Nepal

(this initiative is absolutely transparent with the economic part, so you can give money to people directly, there is no problem).

Many of volunteers might frequently ask question; why they need to pay for volunteering?

​

Yes, absolutely Volunteering is for free in any organization or schools etc, you do not need to pay for Volunteering but you have to pay for the services you have taken & the expenses that you made during your stay in Nepal. You can see the description below that where your money has been invested.

  • What is included in the total cost? (The program fee include :)

  1. Food (Breakfast, lunch & Dinner)

  2. Clean Accommodation (with Internet & wifi, clean Rooms, bathrooms, Recreational hall/room, Kitchen, supersonic view from Roof/Terrace)

  3.  Transportation (Airport pick up & Transfer, Transportation while going to Volunteering Works & Visiting Cultural heritage sites and other places around Kathmandu only from the camp &  emergency services)

  4. Management fee

  1. Orientation

  2. Project Placement & onsite supervision

  3. Staff salaries

  4. Office Rent

  5. Office equipment, furniture & supplies

  6. Internet & wifi

  7. Electricity & water

  8. Local Taxes & membership fees

  9. Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu

  10. Fund raising support

  11. Assistance with visas and pre-departure support

  12. 24hr emergency support by Nepalunteer staff

  13. Stationery & handouts of the presentation

  14. A half day sightseeing of world heritage sites and other places in Kathmandu (eg: Durbar squares, change narayan temple, bouddha nath stupa, pashupatinath temple etc

  15. Safe travel, trekking, tour  &  Adventure Assistance

  16. Direct donation hand to hand from international volunteers of the above donation amount to the related projects like disabled home, Elderly home, Buddhist Monastery & Schools.

  • What is not included in the total cost? (The program fee Exclude :)

  1. Flight (Air fare)

  2. Visa (Tourist visa), visa extension, Airport taxes

  3. Travel Insurance / Medical Insurance & Vaccination

  4. Food & beverage you eat outside Nepalunteer camp/ host family such as restaurant, bars etc

  5. Personal Tours, jungle safari & Trekking package outside Kathmandu valley is not included in our package cost, if you are interested Nepalunteer can organize for you with affordable prices

  6. Domestic  flight cost ( for tour & Mountain flights)

  7. Gifts to the project staff or host family is not included in the price

  8. Entrance fees to the cultural Heritage – $22 max for main cultural sites;

  9. You will also need a weekly budget of up to US $20 to cater for all your other expenses like bottled water.

  10. If you wish to work for more than one project, then you are required to pay €40 extra to cover our extra logistic work and transportation costs.

  • The Donation amount is provided by our international volunteers to the related projects by hand to hand; such as

    1. Disabled Home

    2. Elderly Home

    3. Schools

    4. Buddhist Monastery

 

Note: Nepalunteer does not receive any funds from other donor agencies whilst, the program fees paid by our volunteers like you is the main base for Nepalunteer and related projects. Independent donations are also welcomed and you will donate by your own hands to the victims or related projects. Once you start your volunteering activities, if you wish to discontinue in any reason, the programs fee are not refundable.
